BRP and its employees in Québec, Canada have long been supporters of the CHUS Foundation. Employees are active in volunteering and raising money through employee payroll deductions, baseball and golf tournaments, raffles, etc... In 2010, proceeds from BRP's fundraising activities amounted to more than CA $1,300,000 which will be used to acquire state-of-the-art equipment critical in the fight against cancer.
The Red Cross
BRP and its employees from across the world donate to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies. Be it funds for disaster relief after Hurricane Katrina or the earthquake in Haiti; sponsorship of the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer snowmobile run, or to join foces to patrol the Seine River in France, BRP has an extensive history with the International Red Cross and Red Crescent societies. We feel that supporting humanitarian causes for those who need it most is part of a company's' social responsibility.
The United Way - Centraide
The mission of the United Way is to improve lives by helping to build communities' through the engagement, mobilization and the collective action of people. BRP's community involvement is very much based on this.
Be it a recycling program that redistributes used packaging materials to local businesses in Juarez, Mexico, to annual fundraising campaigns in our Sturtevant, Wisconsin site, we mobilize our employees to make a better community and give through the United Way.
