OBSTACLE? WHAT OBSTACLE?
The exclusive TTITM suspension lets the rear wheels trail, which allows the OutlanderTM to climb over obstacles with minimal effort. And since its pivots are positioned ahead of the wheels, they provide superior control and comfort.
The TTI (Trailing Torsional Independent) suspension allows the rear wheels to trail freely, much like a wheelbarrow being pulled up a flight of steps. This means they won't get hung up the way they would if you tried to push them over the obstacle. The TTI has fewer moving parts than an ordinary independent suspension, reducing the weight of the quad and making it more durable.
With single pivots positioned ahead of the wheels on a torsion bar, the wheels can travel straight up and down - ending "scrub". So the rear wheels maintain constant, straight-ahead travel. The result is a smooth, comfortable ride, superior handling and more efficient use of power.
