SEE BRP EVINRUDE AT SOUTHAMPTON BOAT SHOW 2009

UK, Dorset, 1 September 2009 – Visitors to the BRP stand at this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show, being held 11th – 20th September, will be able to find out more about the Evinrude® range of outboard engines and the latest models in the line-up.

Visit BRP's stand (DO12, Winward Hall) to discover more about the Evinrude outboard engine range, the most advanced direct-injection two-stroke outboard engines available, ranging from 25 to 300 hp.  Evinrude E-TEC® engines offer an unmatched boating experience, delivering high power and low weight for exceptional performance and efficiency.  In fact, Evinrude outboard engines require no dealer-scheduled maintenance for three years or 300 hours and all are 2010 EPA compliant.

Visitors will also be able to view a selection of Evinrude powered boats on display in the Show’s marina. JBT Marine will be offering boat demonstrations onboard a 6.5m Ballistic RIB on berth #302, whilst Wills Marine will be displaying a NordKapp Noblesee 760 on berth #303 and Humber will be displaying the Sports Pro 1000 offshore sports RIB on berth #033.

The Ballistic‡ 6.5m, equipped with the Evinrude E-TEC 175 hp engine, excels in challenging conditions.  An extremely strong, no expenses spared build gives it the edge over the competition.  As a result, the 6.5m is in demand across the world in environments where speed, reliability and style are paramount.  Expertly constructed, with the unique Ballistic design, the 6.5m is fitted with jockey seats (rear bench an option) for riders to carve up the waves in comfort, and comes with the standard top-notch spec (on-the-water specification).

The NordKapp‡ Noblesse 760, equipped with the Evinrude E-TEC 250 hp engine, is the largest in the Noblesse family.  A modern day cruiser, designed for day and weekend trips, fishing, entertaining and general Watersports, the Noblesse's special design features the rigging of large outboard engines, with either single or twin installations.  She has a two berth cabin and a spacious cockpit with seating for eight people. The hull has a speed potential of up to 60 knots and offers a very soft ride due to its deep V-hull construction.

The Humber‡ Sports Pro 1000 offshore sports boat, equipped with twin Evinrude E-TEC
300 hp engines, has been designed as a thoroughbred sporting RIB ideal for offshore high speed cruising and water-sports, with excellent sea keeping qualities in the most demanding of conditions. The unique deep V Humber hull, large tapered hypalon tubes and luxury seating offers passengers the highest level, whilst other features include a central rear ski pole helping to eliminate boat side bias for ski and wake boarding.
