Dorset, UK, 22 October 2009 – Sea-Doo X-TEAM riders dominate IJSBA World Finals with 12 World Championships and winning ALL Pro classes while Eric Lagopoulos wins the Sea-Doo X-TEAM "Brake the Bank" Bounty.

Sea-Doo X-TEAM watercraft racers accomplished a historic feat during the 2009 IJSBA
World Finals in Lake Havasu City, AZ winning every PRO class possible with New Zealand's Sam Harvey leading the new champions with the premier PRO Runabout Open win on his DHL sponsored Sea-Doo GTI watercraft. Harvey finished just ahead of fellow Sea-Doo GTI mounted Anthony Antes of Australia in a field stacked with the best watercraft racers in the world riding the fastest watercraft in the world. Harvey tops the long list of new 2009 IJSBA World Champions riding sea-Doo watercraft at the week long event.
Kylie Ellmers of Australia earned two Pro titles, repeating as Pro Women's Runabout Champion and finishing first in Pro/AM Limited Runabout, on her Sea-Doo RXP-X and claimed a double portion of the Sea-Doo X-TEAM Bounty racer support contingency money from BRP. Tim Neff of Indianapolis, IN - an IRL race team engineer - finished in front of a loaded field in Pro/AM Runabout Stock followed by Carl Lampe Jr and Troy Snyder with all three top finishers on Sea-Doo RXP-X watercraft. Blaine Spires claimed his second World Title in Pro 800 Runabout on his Sea-Doo watercraft.
The week was filled with exciting racing action and BRP added to the week-long festivities with Sea-Doo iCONTROL test rides where event attendees were treated to the opportunity to test ride the new 2010 Sea-Doo RXT-X 260, Sea-Doo RXT iS, and Sea-Doo GTX Limited watercraft. The Sea-Doo X-TEAM "Brake the Bank" display showcased a handful of new 2010 models with product videos and sales staff on hand to talk to the fans.
The Sea-Doo X-TEAM Bounty event has become a tradition at the World Finals featuring the best Sea-Doo watercraft racers in the world competing in a unique event for the week's largest single prize. This year the "Brake the Bank" event pitted these top Sea-Doo watercraft racers against the clock with each riding the same 2010 Sea-Doo RXT-X, equipped with iBR (intelligent Brake and Reverse) around the World Finals track attempting to log their fastest timed lap. The twist was that each competitor had to brake and stop after passing the finish line before a marked stopping point, or a two-second penalty was added.
Twelve racers were invited to compete in the 2009 Sea-Doo X-TEAM "Brake the Bank"
Bounty with the winner being awarded the X-TEAM piggy bank filled with USD $1,000.
Florida's Eric Lagopoulos bettered the stacked filed with a one-lap time of 1:24.5 for the Bounty win. BRP is the only manufacturer that offers a racer support programme and the World Finals Sea-Doo X-TEAM Bounty event is always a crowd favourite.
BRP would like to congratulate the following, newly crowned, IJSBA World Champions.
