Rovaniemi, Finland, May 29, 2007 – BRP Finland intends to move into a new state-of-the art snowmobile manufacturing facility by December 2008.  With the cooperation of Rovaniemi's city council and upon satisfactory conclusion of contract negotiations, BRP will sign a 15-year lease and invest 7 million euros (Can$ 10 million) in new equipment and machinery.

Construction of the new 19,000 square metre facility is slated for fall 2007. The building will regroup BRP Finland's distribution centre, assembly and fabrication lines, logistic centre, and R & D functions.

"This investment confirms our commitment to the Scandinavian market and to the Lynx® snowmobile brand," stated José Boisjoli, president and chief executive officer, BRP. "Our current facility no longer responds to our production needs. The move will allow the implementation of new manufacturing technologies and philosophy at BRP Finland in 2008," he added.
