Recall Snowmobiles due to crash hazard

Summary: Transport Canada, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. and BRP US Inc. (“BRP“) are conducting a voluntary safety recall of some Ski-Doo models: 2008 MXZ X 600 RS.

BRP US Inc. in the United States and Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. in Canada (collectively “BRP”) are conducting a voluntary safety recall of Tiller Handle Kits installed on 40, 50, 60, 65 (Jet), 75, and 90 HP Evinrude E-TEC outboards.

Summary: The shift cable may break away from the shift cable sleeve. The shift handle may not function, which could potentially cause the outboard to stick in gear or in neutral. A loss of boat control or diminished boat control could cause a risk of personal injury to the operator, passengers, and people who are nearby.
