BRP pushes the PWC industry forward with its 2007 Sea-Doo watercraft

New Flow Thru design, more power options and ergonomic improvements

Nashville, Tenn., September 19, 2006 - With the launch of its 2007 Sea-Doo® watercraft lineup, Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP), strengthens its position as the industry leader thanks to innovative features, striking design and unmatched performance.

New in 2007

  • "Flow Thru" upper deck design adds a luxury look and watertight removable storage to GTX† and GTX Limited models, as well as a plush new Touring seat. The new deck design is also standard on the WAKETM model - the only PWC specifically designed and equipped for wake sports out of the box.
  • All two- and three-passenger Sea-Doo watercraft are equipped with higher and wider handlebars** for improved rider comfort and effortless control.
  • The next generation of the Sea-Doo Learning KeyTM can be programmed to limit rpm to one of two preset levels, for new and less experienced riders.
  • The Sea-Doo GTITM SE, RXPTM, and WAKE watercraft are now available with a choice of two Rotax® 4-TEC® marine engine packages***.

Also returning in 2007

  • 2006 Watercraft of the Year§ and winner of two marine magazine shootouts*, the Sea-Doo GTI watercraft returns. The GTI SE is now available with two power options: 130 hp and 155 hp Rotax 4-TEC marine engines, each garnering a three-star California Air Resources Board (CARB) certification for ultra low emissions. The GTI, with standard reverse, is the best value the industry.
  • BRP continues to set the standard with the Sea-Doo RXP two-passenger and RXTTM threepassenger watercraft - the industry's most powerful. Both models feature the supercharged and intercooled 215 hp Rotax 4-TEC engine. The 2007 Sea-Doo RXP model will also be available with the 155 hp engine package for those looking for a more affordable two passenger model.
  • The award-winning Sea-Doo 3D® DI watercraft returns as the most versatile recreational product on the water, capable of transforming into five completely different experiences: VERT, MOTO, KART, SHOQ and KNEE.
