Bombardier Announces Evinrude/Johnson Genuine Parts and Accessories Stow Away Kit Promotion

Sturtevant, Wis. - 2002-09-05

Bombardier Recreational Products recently introduced the Stow AwayTM kit, a promotion from the Evinrude/Johnson Genuine Parts and Accessories department designed to deliver more value to Evinrude/Johnson customers.

Developed to help familiarize customers with Evinrude/Johnson winterizing products, the Stow Away kit is an off-season maintenance kit designed to get engines ready for off-season storage. This all-in-one package includes one multi purpose, heavy-duty dock bucket, a heavy-duty marine sponge, an 8-oz. 2+4 fuel conditioner, one quart Ultra HPFTM Gearcase Lube, one Evinrude®/Johnson® lube pump, one can engine fogging oil and an Evinrude/Johnson Genuine Parts baseball cap. With a $50 ($74 CDN) consumer retail value and a recommended suggested retail price of $34.99 ($56 CDN), the Stow Away kit promotion is both convenient and economical with the added value of educating customers on how to keep their engines primed during the off-season.

As part of Bombardier Recreational Products' ongoing commitment to helping customers learn to follow a proper maintenance schedule, a full-colour informative brochure, designed to educate customers on the importance of proper seasonal maintenance, accompanies the TM kit. This kit is available through participating Evinrude/Johnson dealers in U.S. and Canadian markets.

Customers can find out more about the Stow Away kit promotion by calling their Evinrude/Johnson dealer or by logging on to www.evinrude.com or www.johnson.com.
