Magog, Québec - 1998-06-30
The Bombardier TraxterTM new all-terrain vehicle (ATV) unveiled last February in Valcourt during the seventh edition of Club Ski-Doo, has received an enthusiastic welcome from over 200 people gathered in Magog since Sunday to take part in the first annual meeting of ATV dealers and distributors.
"Bombardier's first ATV, called TraxterTM, fits in the company's tradition of excellence and innovation" according to Alain Brunelle, president of the Snowmobile and ATV division. He added: "the reputation and prestige of Bombardier products will allow us to position ourselves in a competitive market such as that of ATVs. The Bombardier name is a guarantee of quality and it is itself one of the best selling arguments and safest insurance of satisfaction. The success surrounding our first dealer meeting leads us to believe in a bright future for Bombardier's ATV".
Bombardier's TraxterTM model of the ATV was developed and assembled thanks to the efforts of a multidisciplinary team in Bombardier plants located in Valcourt. The intensive testing program implemented during the previous year allows us to offer a high-quality product capable of meeting consumers' expectations. Our Traxter model is a reinvention of the ATV with a great deal of technological and mechanical exclusivities, among which a new Rotax engine designed especially for ATVs. Thanks to its revolutionary and ergonomic design, the Traxter innovates with an improved handling and a riding comfort yet unreached by this product category.
